I think a strong man isn’t about armor but honesty
"Be strong" feels like being told to "wear armor forever," which is exhausting. So I’ve quietly updated my definition of a “truly strong man” to be someone who can cry or vent, who can rely on others, and who can take care of themselves and the people they care about.
