Minimalism should be an option, not the monopoly on being 'right'
Personally, I like minimalism as one selectable style, but if everyone ends up choosing only that, the world quickly becomes gray and it feels boring. I welcome minimalism as a way to organize information overload, but if an atmosphere forms that anything outside of it is uncool, and diverse experiments with colors and shapes are stifled as a result, I’d honestly feel that's a loss.
