The toughest thing was the 'teacher's likes and dislikes rule'
What still leaves me feeling unsettled is the kind of situation where one person gets scolded in front of everyone; even when you do the same thing, some are reprimanded based on the teacher’s likes and dislikes while others are ignored. If there are rules, that’s fine, but the way they’re applied based on emotion is the most unfair, and I’ve watched it with cool detachment since back then.
