Cosmetic surgery is fine, but it's a matter of decision, not just going with the flow.
I'm basically in favor, but I see it as a decision about whether to spend money and time in a way that you find satisfactory rather than dragging your insecurities for life. So I don't push it on friends or family; instead, if the person is truly struggling with it and is willing to thoroughly research the risks and information, my stance is to back them up and say, 'as an option, it's totally valid.'
