Facebook Is Only “Needed” If You Actually Use Its Functional Stuff
For most day‑to‑day “hang out with friends” use, no, you don’t *need* Facebook anymore if your circle has already moved to Instagram. The only reason I still see value in Facebook is very functional stuff—groups, events, community pages, Marketplace, maybe some niche professional or local communities—if you don’t actively use those, you’re not missing anything by dropping it.
